SAPI prioritizes responsible lending and financial stability by evaluating businesses against specific criteria before offering a Merchant Cash Advance (MCA). These requirements help determine eligibility for funding and support long-term success.

  • Only non-sole trader entities such as limited companies and partnerships (LLPs) are eligible.

  • Must reside in the country where the company is registered.

  • Non-nationals residing in the UK or Ireland must provide proof of residency for the duration of the MCA, along with any additional required documentation.

3. Financial & Creditworthiness Requirements

  • Refinancing an existing MCA: At least 50% of the current MCA must be repaid.

  • SAPI MCA renewals: At least 70% repayment is required.

  • Directors or applicants must not:

    • Have significant adverse events against shareholding directors.

4. Identification Requirements

  • A passport or government-issued photo ID with at least six months’ validity remaining.

All applications undergo a thorough assessment, including credit checks.
