Overview
SAPI's partner portal provides a centralized hub for submitting referrals, tracking application status, and monitoring commission payments. This guide explains how to access and use the portal effectively.

Provided during onboarding:
- Login link sent via email
- Username (your email address)
- Temporary password
First-Time Login
Click login link from welcome email
Enter your email and temporary password
Create new secure password
Complete profile setup

Portal Features
Dashboard Overview
Key metrics displayed:
- Referrals this month (submitted, funded)
- Commission earned this month
- Total YTD referrals and commission
- Recent activity feed
- Pending commission payments
Submit New Referral
How to:
1. Click "New Referral" button
2. Enter business details (name, contact, industry, card sales)
3. Enter financing requirements (amount, purpose)
4. Add notes (optional but helpful for SAPI's team)
5. Submit
Referral form fields:
- Business legal name
- Companies House number (or UTR)
- Primary contact name and title
- Email address
- Phone number
- Monthly card sales volume
- Payment processor used
- Amount requested
- Purpose of funds*
- Additional notes (optional)
*Required fields
Submission confirmation:
- Email receipt sent to you
- Referral assigned a tracking ID
- Appears in your "Active Referrals" list
Track Referrals
View all referrals:
- Active referrals (in progress)
- Funded referrals (commission earned)
- Declined referrals (not funded)
- Abandoned referrals (business didn't complete)
For each referral, see:
- Current status (Pending Contact, Under Review, Approved, Funded, etc.)
- Business name
- Submission date
- Expected/actual funding date
- Advance amount (if funded)
- Commission amount (if funded)
Filter and search:
- By date range
- By status
- By business name
- Export to CSV/Excel
Commission Tracking
Commission dashboard shows:
- This month's funded deals
- Pending commission (funded but not yet paid)
- Paid commission (historical)
- Commission payment schedule
- Total YTD earnings
Download statements:
- Monthly commission statements (PDF)
- Export commission data (CSV/Excel)
- Filter by date, business, or status

Portal Best Practices
1. Submit referrals promptly
Don't wait and batch—submit as you collect leads for faster processing.
2. Provide complete information
Incomplete referrals slow down SAPI's process and reduce approval rates.
3. Check status regularly
Monitor "Active Referrals" to see which need follow-up with customers.
4. Update contact details
Keep your email and bank details current for commission payments.
5. Review commission statements monthly
Reconcile with your accounting records and query any discrepancies promptly.
Portal Troubleshooting
Can't Log In
Forgot password:
1. Click "Forgot Password" on login page
2. Enter email
3. Follow reset link sent to email
Account locked:
- After 5 failed login attempts, account locks for 30 minutes
- Contact [email protected] for immediate unlock
Browser issues:
- Clear cache and cookies
- Try incognito/private mode
- Use modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge latest versions)
Referral Won't Submit
Check:
- All required fields completed
- Email format is valid
- Phone number in UK format (+44...)
- Amount requested is within range (£10,000-£500,000)

Verify:
- Has business been marked as "Funded"?
- Has it been 30+ days since funding?
